More Mom

Mom wanted to be silly and play dress up with the feather boas. We had a good laugh but made yet another memory.

Caelen’s First Louisville Bats Game

We took Caelen to his first Louisville Bats Game. He had fun and ate his first ballpark hotdog, peanuts and cotton candy. The rain held off until near the end of the game, but we stayed for the rest of the game sporting fashionable rain ponchos.

Mom

Mom seems to like being my “crash test dummy”, she is always right there saying “take my picture”…

Louisville Zoo with My Mom

I took Mom to the Louisville Zoo again today. We saw a second 1/3 of the zoo. Maybe one more trip and we will see it all. It’s a good sized zoo and walking it all in one day has proved to be a bit too much for Mom. We did say that we want to work at the zoo after seeing a few of the keepers interacting with the residence. I also think this is the first time I have ever seen the big turtles up walking around.

Caelen Loves the Rocking Horse

We laughed as Caelen spent more time hugging and kissing the rocking horse than actually rocking it.

Harvest Moon

Tonight Alyssa was so excited to see her first “Harvest Moon”. I think it was must more spectacular looking in person, but I took a couple shots of it.

Prayers and Take Heed

If you are the prayin' sort my family asks that you lift up my brother Leonard. He was napping in an Anaheim City park yesterday and was awoke under a city park and recreation truck that drove right over him. He is hurt pretty bad but listed as stable. He has several deep tissue burns on both legs presumably from the exhaust or engine and confirmed fractured spine.

The take heed part is PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you nap in a park. This is the second such accident in an Anaheim park in about a week!
