General Jackson’s Showboat

I didn’t get to take a cruise on General Jackson’s Showboat, but did watch it depart… Maybe next time!

The Parthenon

The sky over the Parthenon was incredible tonight!

Chihuly At Cheekwood Botanical Gardens

I visited the Chihuly exhibit at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. The Chihuly exhibit was wonderful as usual and the gardens were nice. I still have to say I am partial to St. Louis Botanical Gardens.

Nashville At Night

Tonight we went to Nashville for the weekend. I enjoyed a nice walk around the downtown area, but have to admit that after seeing the Louisville Skyline at night, we are spoiled in Kentucky! I still had a good time photographing some lights. If you are into crowded streets buzzing with energy and neon lights, this is the place for you!

Pond Turnover

I came home tonight to find buzzards all over my front yard and fish floating on the pond…thanks to a record long hot spell, we have lost most of our catfish and about 20 larger bluegill so far. I am sure more will die until we finally get rain. It just makes me sick!
